I hate being that person who’s negative about everything, but hear me out on this. Most of the companies that claim they have the best lotions for dry skin are full of hype.

They have huge advertising budgets, and that’s how they get you to buy their products, even though they aren’t the best products on the market.

I’m not saying that all of the big name companies are full of it, I’m just telling you to look out. I’ve had some bad experiences with popular products, my skin did not like them at all.

It is important that you learn how to read the labels on skin care lotions. My experience and research has taught me to avoid anything with alcohol, acrylamides, DEA, dioxanes, parabens, fragrances, phenol carbolic acid, toluenes, and triclosan.

The list is a lot longer than that, but those are the biggest ones you want to look for. Most companies use these ingredients in their products, because they are cheap and no one has banned them yet. So stay educated.

#3 – Natural Products

It’s hard to find completely natural products, and it takes time and research. But once you do find that one good company that makes a great natural lotion, you’ll be happy that you put in the time.

This has been true for me, I’ve a lot of money and time trying to find the best lotions for dry skin, and especially MY skin.

In the end it was definitely worth it for me. I have now fallen in love with a company in New Zealand, they make great products with high-quality ingredients, and best of all, they are very ethical and have great support.
